UDUR St.Moritz - PRÜMAVAIRA

PRÜMAVAIRA means spring in the Rhaeto-Romanic language. Lush meadows, snow, mountain spruce - nature awakens from hibernation. The scent of spring is reminiscent of lush meadows, fresh lily of the valley and white flowers.
  • Mountain spruce

The spruces (Picea) are the only genus of the subfamily Piceoideae within the pine family (Pinaceae). Picea species are evergreen and single-stemmed trees. They usually reach heights of around 30 to 50 meters. The crown of the tree is conical to cylindrical. The trunk diameter is up to 1 meter, with a maximum of 2.5 meters.

  • Spring meadow

Birds are chirping in the morning, the days are getting longer and colorful flowers are blooming in the fields. But it's not just crocuses and daffodils that are sprouting. Edible wild plants such as wild garlic, goutweed and even daisies can also be found in meadows and forests. Before spring was actually called "spring", it was referred to as "Lent" in Old English.

  • Lily of the valley

The lily of the valley (Convallaria majalis) is a plant species from the species-poor genus Convallaria in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae). In German-speaking Switzerland, the common name Maieriesli is also used. It was voted poisonous plant of the year in 2014. The lily of the valley has two to three leaves and grows to a height of 10 to 30 cm.
