The mountain lakes and alpine streams sparkle enchantingly from lightning blue to emerald green. In the canton of Graubünden, 615 mountain lakes are waiting to offer day-trippers a chance to cool off. Whether crystal clear, deep blue or mystically shimmering green - the mountain lakes are also visually impressive and offer peace and relaxation in the middle of nature.

Violets or violas (Viola) are a plant genus within the violet family (Violaceae). Most of the 400 to 650 species grow in the temperate regions of the world. The centers of species diversity are in North America, the Andes and Japan. However, they can also be found in Australia and Tasmania. Well-known species include pansies, horned violets and fragrant violets.

Hay is the dried above-ground biomass of grassland plants such as grasses, herbs and legumes. Hay is obtained by mowing and drying the grasses and herbs growing on grassland. The fine material left over from hay storage, mainly leaf fragments, husks and seeds and other small parts, is called hay flowers.

Majestic peaks, glistening mountain lakes and lush alpine meadows are all part of the breathtaking mountain world. The lakes invite you to enjoy a cool refreshment. During the day it is sunny and pleasantly warm. It cools down at night.
